Wild Secret Safaris Walks & Treks
No matter what your personal resources may be, sometimes you’ve just got to get away from it all into the furthest hills, as much alone with the wilderness as you can be. That’s a Wild Secret Safaris trek. And to do this in Africa is the epitome of adventure.
Wild Secret Safaris Treks feature a lot of walking, with local tribal guides who know the country. On longer journeys you’ll have a few staff and donkeys as pack animals. Camp is great and functional: an igloo tent with good padding, and a couple staff including a cook to take care of refueling you. You’ll have a sturdy Landrover with a professional, English speaking driver who’ll become your companion as well as your guide. Never more than 8 people booked from around the world will make up your small group of adventurers. The rest is left up to you.
And it won’t be hard! To ensure the finest experience of your life, just keep your eye wide open!
WALK ON THE WILD SIDE
The ultimate East African Adventure! A combination of more conventional game viewing in the most celebrated national parks, then walks in more remote wilderness in some of the most beautiful areas of northern Tanzania. Your adventure camp and several staff travel with you in your private Landrover convoy. Outstanding meals are prepared by Wild Secret Safaris’s bush cooks and most chores in camp are undertaken by the staff. Your important tasks include counting the stars and defending camp from the roar of lions.
The 7-days program is perfect for people with limited time and an ideal extension to any of our East African climbs. In the relatively short time, you’ll see northern Tanzania’s most famous parks, in a mixture of luxury lodges, permanent tented camps, and with a climax in an adventure camp in the Serengeti.
For several years, now, the true mountain gorilla enthusiast has moved out of Uganda back to where it all began, in Rwanda. This completely safe country has been resurrected with extraordinary development, and the seven volcanoes of Parcs de volcans are once again the peaceful and dramatic habitat for this incredible creature as they were a generation ago for Dian Fossey.
